Happy iOS day!

Because I'm an eager beaver, I could not wait to get my hands on the latest Apple iOS installment. Majority of my day consisted of complaining on Twitter why I didn't get my update and a lot of googling to see if it was a roll out or not (I tried to download the keynote, but my internet hates me and I really haven't even had time to watch/listen to things until today).

Neil got his hands on a Golden Master for his phone last week and as the trusting my tech life in his hands kind of girl (I know shit, but I double check things with him because he knows what I like). He told me positive things and I became more skeptic. I hate change. I refuse to update to Windows 8 because I hate the way it looks and the screen shots that I saw of the new iOS made me hate it! I like my shiny buttons. I like that I can tweet people from my notifications center (by the way you can't do that any more and it pisses me off!). Plus the God awful colors! Oh those colors are terrible.

Apparently it was a roll out by time zone, I waited "patiently" to see the update in my settings on both my iPad and iPod. Only to find out that my iPod will never see the light of iOS 7 because it's now officially old. It made my heart sad because it was gonna be my guinea pig. I treasure my iPad more so I wasn't going to do it until I learned of this. So, my iPad went through the change.

I have determined that Edgar Wright and Joss Whedon need to make all the movies starting now until forever! As a side note: When Simon Pegg is not busy being Scotty or Tom Cruise's techman, he needs to be on the writing team! OMG! Just imagine that writing team! UGH! I want it now! Please. Someone?

Yeah that might be an Edgar and a Benedict. =D

The World's End was perfect. Yes it did have some high expectations to uphold (i.e. Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz), but if you know walking in that it is in like of those movies and Simon Pegg isn't the straight man it was AWESOME!

The whole movie is about Pegg's character wanting to relive the highlight of his life by recreating a night he and his buddies did 20 years, an epic pub crawl. But the guys are older and cranky and really don't want to do it. When they go to their old home town to start the festivities, it's like they've never lived there their whole lives. No one recognizes them, and this kind of depresses Pegg a bit.

Then the shit flies when we get to the discovery of the "robot" aliens! And I leave you at that!

I loved this movie so much that I need the DVD like now!

Point you need to see it.

Go!

Now!

Nick Frost is adorable.

Martin Freeman gets his head bashed in in the most hilarious of ways!

So, a short while ago I announced on Facebook that I have caved into yet another pop culture phenom known as Game of Thrones. Unlike Duck Dynasty (which threw everyone that knew me off), this is so up my alley!

http://images5.fanpop.com/image/photos/24500000/Tyrion-Lannister-house-lannister-24542029-1090-1638.jpgI got the books first, but then shortly realized because of their length and classes starting up again I would not be able to play catch up as fast as I would like. So, I'm going backwards with it. Watch a season, read the book. Therefore I can't get all fangirl mad while I watch the AMAZING show!

That being said, I'm watching it spoiler free. I have no idea what's going on outside the four episodes that I watched yesterday, so it's pretty awesome to do this even though the internet is popping up: HEY LOOK AT ME!!!! It happens. That's what the internet does so well.

Now on to my favorite part so far: Peter Dinklage. That's it. He's my favorite part.

Least favorite: The Lanisters (except Peter Dinklage he's the only sound one) and the blond brother of the hot chick who's the wife of the Jonathan Rhys-Davies look-a-like. They need to die. (Don't you dare tell me if they do or not! I know Martin has that habit of killing people and the writers are somewhat good with that!)

I'm glad I found something worth watching that even though it does have the weirdest incest story line that I can do with out, it really enjoyable and reminds me of stuff that I read and wanted to watch when I was little.

Yay! Winter is coming. For reals this time! <3

Yeah...It needed to happen when I saw it.
